Chris Christofi is the CEO of the Reventon Group and is a huge supporter of Australian Snooker and Billiards. For all the players out there in our community, please help Chris and Reventon in this fantastic cause.
Oceania Cue Sports will continue to promote this great initiative and would love to see Chris raise over $60,000.
CEO’s Ambitious Goal for Vinnies fundraiser
Committing to raising $60,000 in donations for a one-night event is a big call in anyone’s language. But that’s the ambitious ‘stretch’ goal of Reventon Founder and CEO Chris Christofi.
Last year Chris took part in his first Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout in Melbourne and raised the impressive total of $40,185. This effort made Chris the third highest fundraiser in Victoria, and ranked in the top 1% of fundraisers out of 1,463 CEO’s taking part. Based on this impressive debut, Vinnies appointed Chris an Ambassador for the 2019 CEO Sleepout event.
An early riser, Chris does his creative thinking, visualising and goal setting in his office between 3am to 5am each day. Chris plans to achieve his ambitious 2019 fundraising target by, in his words, ‘working as hard as I do each day to achieve my business goals’.
Homelessness has risen 14% in the last five years, with over 116,000 people currently living without a permanent home across Australia, according to the ABS. Helping those experiencing homelessness is a cause very close to Chris’s heart, and one he and wife Billie have personally supported for many years. This year’s CEO Sleepout theme is ‘Leading with Compassion’ really resonates with Chris who says,
“It can be tempting to ignore the severe impacts of homelessness as we go about our daily lives, but it’s essential that we never succumb to the error of believing that homelessness is a just an outcome, or something that’s deserved. In the end, we're all human beings and subject to circumstances beyond our control. It is my personal mission to do everything I can to help.“
Chris will be encouraging his networks to be a part of achieving this very worthwhile goal.
