Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardHi ALL
Well i have been following the forum now for 3 years and decided the time was right to become a member.I hope to be able to add some input to various topics and get behind and support this great game called snooker. For those who dont no me my full name is leigh sienkiewicz i reside in the great town of Campbelltown N.S.W and iam currently the licensee of the El Cortez Hotel in sydney. I began playing at age 11 and joined the junior snooker competitions at age 14.there have been some great highlights, match ups and dissapointments that have come from snooker over the past 25years.My Goal for 2010 is to play in as many ranking tourneys as possible, practise hard, and most of all take the good with the bad,if i can achieve this then i may break into the top 32 by the years end.My first tourney will be in Adelaide the match room in feb. There are many many people on this forum that have given some fantastic input that has seen the game grow in the past few years.Happy New Year to you all,i look forward to chatting with many of you over the next little while.
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardSo when you coming to pull some balls out for me Lee??
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardHow freaky is this!
I was only thinking of your name yesterday! I've just made a comeback myself and was wondering if you were still around. I also used to hit at Campbelltown Catholic Club with another bloke about 15 years my senior who I think was your uncle (I can't remember the guy's name but he was a very nice guy and knew/played a mate of mine years ago called Tony Kuusk - The guy I'm talking about was an A-grader who would be probably around his mid-fifties now - I think he was Yugoslav or something like that).
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardHi Tim
Mate how are you buddy, its been a long time. You have a great memory yes it was my uncle his name was Richard Zelezelski lived in Campbelltown you would of played with my dad Danny on some occasions as well, tell me Tim where are you living mate and where are you practising, need to catch up.
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardwhen did leigh become all nice and friendly?!?!?
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardIt must be an imposter!
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardNow we just need the old man for the trifecta..
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardActually now that I think about it I think it may have been your father, Danny, who knew Tony Kuusk from the past.
Tony played years ago for Marrickville RSL (from memory) in the mid 70's against the likes of Jim Bonner, Warren King, and the like. He lost his right arm at BHP, Port Kembla, around that time which stuffed his Snooker career up completely. Tony passed away from a heart attack about 8-9 years ago, due to alcoholism (he had been sober for almost 20 years but his depression caused him to return to the bottle). Tony was a very good mate, mentor, and had a very, very good Snooker mind. I recall watching the Australian Open I think 1998, Shawn Budd vs Warren King in the Semi-final or Quarter-final. Warren King potted the last red bouncing it off 3 separate cushions. Tony called the shot to me before Warren played it. My guess is Tony had seen Warren play a similar shot years ago, knew Warren's game incredibly well, or that Tony just had a brilliant Snooker mind. Anyway, I'm still living down the 'Gong, actually Shellharbour area. I have worked about 2.5 years for a company called Zip Heaters (Condell Park, near Bankstwon Airport), recently got a job promo from call centre worker to sales rep with them, do p/time uni (BA/BLaws as hoping to eventually become a solicitor), have a 7 yr old son, been with my g/friend for over 2 years now (probably get married again in a few years time...Lol), and just living life in general including getting my Snooker game back. Currently averaging 30-40 break in practice, which is a hell of a lot better than the last 6 months of my comeback where I was struggling to get more than about 12-20 break. Finally, gone up a level, so hopefully it's only a matter of time that I end up getting 50+ consistently. Finally, I'd love to catch up for a hit sometime. Maybe Campbelltown Catholic Club, Mounties, Engadine Bowlo. Let me know Bros.
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardIs Tim and IK Snooker the same person???
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on board

Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardAre you kidding?? I just look and say "FFS! I aint reading all that crap!"
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on board
lksnooker is a St George Regular
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on board\ THANKS NATHAN.
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardJust for the record - I am not LK. As Nathane Reese has said LK is a regular at St Georges Leagues Club.
Actually it's disappointing to think some people think that my lengthy post to Leigh was crap. In fact, 50% of it consists of me talking about a late dear friend of mine, Tony Kuusk. Tony was a really nice bloke and would have become a great Snooker player except he lost his right arm (when he was about 20) working at BHP, Port Kembla. Tony quite possibly would have become as good as the likes of King and Bonner (he played against them in the local Sydney A-grade league) at their peaks so it's disappointing that you cannot take the time to read about a guy who really loved the sport.
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardOMG! Harden up Tim, I was just giving you some friendly advice. You don't want to end up some grumpy old man.
Oh, and no filling up my home page on facebook...
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on boardI think there should be a new rule, any person is only allowed 4 lines maximum to state there case, 8 lines if you cant help yourself
Re: Leighroy(larickin) Senko now on board
